How to create and configure an authorized user in Regions Online Banking.

Overview

Regions Bank allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating a user.

This is done through Regions Online Banking, where you can:

• add a new user with their own login credentials
• choose which accounts they can access
• define what they are allowed to see and do, such as viewing balances or initiating payments

You will be setting up a user that can securely access account data and initiate transactions without sharing your primary login.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to Regions Online Banking.

From the top navigation, go to: Customer Service → Settings → Manage Users

2. Create user

Click the + (plus sign) icon.

Enter the user’s details:

3. Assign account access

Assign the accounts in the Assign Accounts tab.

This must be done for each account individually. If skipped, the user will not see any accounts.

4. Configure permissions (critical)

The above example corresponds to read only functionality. If you want to enable Waycore to draft transactions on the portal, you should enable payments, approvals, and limits correspondingly.

5. Apply Approval Limits

Set specific permission limits like Batch Limit and Daily Limit. Click the Save button as changes are made.

Important notes

If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.

Dual control can be enabled to add approval tiers for ACH payments and wire transfers.

Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
