Overview

Banco Santander allows you to grant access to your accounts by creating a new user in the Santander Treasury Link portal. This process enables your Client Administrator to securely provide access to specific accounts, functionality, and data services that have been provisioned by Santander. By creating a dedicated user, you ensure that team members can initiate transactions and view balances without sharing primary login credentials.

Setup steps

1. Navigate to user management

Sign in to Santander Treasury Link.From the main navigation, go to the Administration module. This module provides comprehensive tools to manage employee profiles and entitlements.
Click the option to Add User.Enter the required details as prompted by the interface.
Assign the user’s entitlements and rights. This includes granting access to specific accounts and functionality.

The above example corresponds to read-only functionality. If you want to enable Waycore to draft transactions on the portal, you should enable payments, approvals, and limits correspondingly.
Review the settings and complete the user creation.The new user will receive an email with a temporary password and will be forced to change it at their first log in.

Important notes

Dual control using a security token is required to approve payments. If the user needs to approve payments or transfers, the Client Administrator must request a token for them.
If no account access is assigned, the user will see no data.
Use one user per account if separate connections are required.
